Do I need to keep my camera on?

Yes. Classes are live and interactive, and your instructor and classmates need to see you, just as you see them. When everyone is visible, the class feels like a real classroom and everyone stays engaged.

If your camera has to go off for a moment (a bad connection, someone walking in), that's fine. Turn it back on as soon as you can.

Headphones and a quiet place help too.
