review [rɪ'vju:] - an article giving an opinion on a film, book, etc.

publish ['pʌblɪʃ]

broadcast ['brɔdkæst] - transmit a program on TV or radio

award [ə'wɔrd] - a prize

director [dɪ'rɛktər]

News is uncountable in English. We say the news is (not the news are). To say one piece of news, we can say a piece of news or a news story.
