A note on contractions with "have" (nota sobre las contracciones con "have")
In spoken English, would have, could have, and might have are almost always contracted. It is important to recognize these sounds:
🔹 En inglés hablado, would have, could have y might have casi siempre se contraen. Es importante reconocer estos sonidos:
would have => would've [wʊdəv] => often sounds like "would of"
could have => could've [kʊdəv] => often sounds like "could of"
might have => might've [maɪtəv] => often sounds like "might of"
In negative sentences, only not is contracted, and only with could and would: wouldn't have, couldn't have. With might, there is no contraction: I might not have passed the exam.
🔹 En oraciones negativas, solo se contrae not, y solo con could y would: wouldn't have, couldn't have. Con might no hay contracción: I might not have passed the exam.
Releer parece una actividad productiva, pero no es el método más eficaz. Es mejor cerrar la página e intentar recordar lo que acabas de estudiar. El esfuerzo de reconstruir el material de memoria favorece la retención a largo plazo.
