Sofía: It's a nice day, isn't it?
Marcos: It is! You're going to the party tonight, aren't you?
S: I'd rather not go, actually. I'm very tired.
M: You'd better go. Elena organized it for her birthday and she'd be upset [ʌp'sɛt] (molesta) if you didn't come.
S: You're right, aren't you? I should go. I'd rather arrive late than not go at all.
M: That's a good idea. You don't have to stay long, do you?
S: No, I suppose not. Would you rather walk there or take a taxi?
M: I'd rather walk. It isn't far, is it?
S: No, it's about fifteen minutes. But we'd better leave soon. The party starts at 8, doesn't it?
M: Yes. You haven't bought a present yet, have you?
S: Oh no! I completely forgot! I'd better go to a shop first.
M: You'd better hurry then. I'd rather you didn't arrive too late. Elena would notice.
Puede parecer buena idea machacar un tema hasta dominarlo, pero alternar diferentes temas en una misma sesión de estudio funciona mejor. La variedad obliga al cerebro a esforzarse más, y eso favorece el aprendizaje.
