Story: when I was living in Barcelona (historia: cuando vivía en Barcelona)
When I was living in Barcelona, I used to wake up at 8 every morning. I would walk to a small café near my apartment and eat breakfast. I used to have coffee and a croissant [kwɑ'sɑnt] (cruasán) every day.
After breakfast, I would take the metro to my office. I used to work from 9 to 6. At lunchtime ['lʌntʃtaɪm] (hora de comer), I would always eat at a restaurant near my office with my friend Marta.
In the evening, I would go to the gym or walk by the beach. I used to live very close to Barceloneta beach. The sunsets ['sʌnsɛts] (puestas de sol) were beautiful.
On weekends, I used to visit my friends in Gràcia. We would eat tapas and drink wine [waɪn] (vino) at a small bar. I didn't use to cook on the weekends.
I really loved that city. I lived there for five years.
Si estudiar algo te resulta muy fácil, probablemente no estés aprendiendo mucho. Que te cueste un poco es buena señal. Las dificultades no son malas para el aprendizaje; de hecho son el mecanismo.
