In English, after when, as soon as [əz su:n æz] (en cuanto / tan pronto como), before and after, we use the present simple to talk about the future, never will.

When I arrive, I will call you. (Cuando llegue, te llamaré).

We cannot say: When I will arrive, I will call you.

🔹 No podemos decir: When I will arrive, I will call you.

As soon as she finishes, we will leave. (En cuanto ella termine, nos iremos).

I will eat before I go. (Comeré antes de ir).

After we eat, we'll go to the park. (Después de comer, iremos al parque).

This works the same way in Spanish: Cuando llegue (present subjunctive, not future). In English we use the present indicative, but the idea is the same.
