A note on W and V in English (nota sobre la W y la V en inglés)
In Spanish, you pronounce V and B the same way: as a B. This makes it difficult for many Spanish speakers to distinguish these two sounds in English, because in English W [w] and V [v] are completely different sounds.
🔹 En español, pronunciamos la V y la B de la misma manera: como una B. Esto hace que muchos hispanohablantes tengan dificultades con estos dos sonidos en inglés, ya que en inglés la W [w] y la V [v] son sonidos completamente diferentes.
The W (la W)
To make the W sound, round your lips in an exaggerated way, as if you were going to give a kiss, and then open them quickly. It is like a very short U followed by the vowel that comes after it.
🔹 Para hacer el sonido de la W, redondeamos los labios de manera exagerada, como si fuéramos a dar un beso, y después los abrimos rápidamente. Es como una U muy corta que va seguida de la vocal que viene después.

The V (la V)
To make the V sound, place your upper teeth on your lower lip and let the air flow out. It is like an F, but with vibration of the vocal cords.
